October is Physical Therapy Month

Our favorite month is October! Why?

Because its National Physical Therapy Month… and these other reasons.

There is so much to be celebrated in the month of October; fall leaves, hunting, Halloween, football, pumpkin spice, Breast Cancer Awareness, baseball post-season, National Massage Week, bonfires, the start of the holidays!

Another highlight of the month which is especially near and dear to our hearts is National Physical Therapy Awareness Month!!

The PT’s at Apex Physical Therapy and Wellness Center are very passionate about their jobs, attaining further specialization and certifications in specialty areas such as women’s health, dry needling, manual therapy, orthopedics, vestibular rehab, Postural Restoration, ASTYM, brain injuries and/or concussion treatment to name a few!

For most, physical therapy is direct access in the state of North Dakota. This means that you DO NOT need a doctor’s referral to see us, so don’t prolong the start of your treatment! If in doubt, feel free to call into the clinic and check on whether your insurance requires a referral or not.
