Physical therapy sessions are much more with Apex!

Meet Lucas

I’m Lucas, I’m a Pisces, have a gorgeous wife (Abby), 2 boys (Bennett – 5 and Cohen – 8 months), and enjoy a nice cup of coffee in the morning!

I enjoy things from my youth including music, movies, sports, and years when the Vikings were good. I am a physical therapist and have 10+ years of experience in outpatient orthopedics. I like to get to know my patients on a personal level to feel like they aren’t at the “doctor’s office.” The best part of being a therapist is that you get extra time with the patients so you can build a good personal relationship by seeing them more often than most healthcare professionals.  Working at Apex has helped rejuvenate my career in a way. For one, I have more time with patients. Rather than just spending the whole session doing the bare minimum, we can go above and beyond to make patients feel comfortable to ease their anxieties.  Another thing is that since I have started working here, I have never worked with more patients who come to therapy happy and excited to be there. It makes a difference when you come to therapy willing to put in the time and effort with a positive attitude and I am grateful to work here because of that.

When I am not working, I spend most of my time with my family and friends. Abby and I’s families are both from rural North Dakota and so we enjoy getting back to visit when we can.  I enjoy hunting with my dad and 2 brothers, working out, playing softball and amateur basketball when I have time.

I am excited to work at a clinic where patients come first and in a place where patients are excited to improve their personal health and well-being!
