In November, or as we like to call it, Movember, we celebrate Men’s Health! At Apex, we are proud to offer specialized treatment for male pelvic health!
Although pelvic health is a topic typically associated with women, males also have a pelvic floor!
Men can also experience problems associated with the pelvic floor muscles such as pelvic/groin pain, constipation, urinary incontinence, difficulty with initiation of urination, or feelings of incomplete bladder emptying. These problems can occur when the pelvic muscles are weak, or when overactive and tight. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, you know how debilitating they can be and how much it can negatively impact your quality of life.
The good thing is, we can help!
Our pelvic health therapists have advanced education and training in evaluation and treatment of male pelvic floor disorders.
By working with one of our pelvic health physical therapists, our patients see great results in order to return to the quality of life they deserve!
