Thoracic Outlet Syndrome

Thoracic Outlet Syndrome is a painful condition that results from the compression of vascular or neural structures in the space just above the first rib (thoracic outlet). This condition has a range of symptoms but can be a potentially disabling condition if not treated.


Common symptoms that may be experienced are pain into the arm or hand, cold intolerance, numbness and tingling, swelling in the arm, heaviness of the arm, change in arm coloration, hand clumsiness, and headaches.
