If you are anything like me, you are already sick of this winter and all the snow we have had.
Unfortunately, since it’s only January and we live in North Dakota, all the shoveling you have been doing is likely going to continue. With that, typically comes a sore back, hips, shoulders, and knees.
Although there are different ways to move snow, it’s problematic because there is no real easy way to do so. The best thing to do is utilize proper body mechanics and reduce how much you try to lift at a time. Doing so will help prevent injuries or pain during the wintry months.
Tips to try and prevent injury while shoveling:
Even with these few tips and using good body mechanics, injuries still can, and will, happen. Always remember that when these types of injuries occur, save yourself time and contact Apex right away for an appointment!
