Gearing up for the 4th!

This 4th of July Take a few Minutes for You!

The summertime can be a busy time for many of us. From spending time with family, working, and even just running errands, we can find ourselves hustling through our days without really taking time for ourselves to rest and recharge.

If you find that you need to take a few extra minutes for yourself this 4th of July, here are some ideas that could help fill your cup:

Unplug from Social Media

Leave your phone on the counter or in a certain spot that you won’t look at throughout the day. Ignore all those extra distractions that you get from social media and conversations.

Take a Walk in Nature

Find new spots to explore and be in the trees/nature environment or go back to an old favorite spot to explore. Take a long walk or find a quiet spot to sit and enjoy the sounds of nature.

Yoga or Meditation

Enjoy your favorite yoga class or find a new class to try.

Read a Book

Find a new book to explore or re-read an old favorite.

Get artistic!

Color, draw, paint, write, play some music, or dance

Coloring books for adults can be a very relaxing way to step away from the busy times of life. Any form of art can be very relaxing and can reset your mind and fill your cup.
