Many sports require throwing or overhead motions, and because of that many athletes (old and young) can be considered to have throwing/overhead components. Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, Football, Track throwers, and even swimmers can have some overhead/throwing motions.
Since there is a lot of force going through the shoulder during the throwing motion, this joint is one of the most common areas for injuries in these athletes.
Here are a few of my favorite exercises to help keep your shoulders strong and pain-free.
