Kaila graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida in 2021. She originates from Hawaii but went on to play Collegiate Volleyball in Texas and Arkansas and received her Bachelor in Exercise Science Degree from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 2016.
Kaila has a special interest and training in pelvic floor rehabilitation in addition to experience in the orthopedic setting. She has completed advanced training through Herman and Wallace in treating pelvic health-related conditions including urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, and constipation. She plans to pursue further specialized training and certifications in pelvic rehabilitation. She also has experience treating athletic sport injuries, post-surgical patients, and geriatric populations. She is passionate about her patients and ensuring they are given the best possible care and outcomes.
Kaila recently moved up North from Nebraska with her husband and two pups, as her husband is from ND and they wanted to be closer to family. She enjoys hiking, taking her pups on walks, traveling, trying new things, sleeping (preferably on a beach), thrifting, and spending time with family.
